Life in the Spirit, Your Divine Miracle

Jesus did not come to earth just to be my example of how to live. He came to earth to make a way for Himself to live in me, and do the works of the Father. Jesus is alive today on a greater scale than he was when his physical body was here on earth. Jesus lived here, taught here, did miracles to showcase the Glory of God; then paid the price in full so that his spirit could live in God's children. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of God. The Holy Ghost, Jesus' spirit, not only lives in me, but it is alive in me to canvas the globe with the works of God Himself. I need to train my spirit man, and develop the spirit part of me so that I may communicate and walk in unity, harmony and fellowship with the holy ghost.

Jesus was a miracle. If you think about it, the first miracle that was performed on Jesus’ behalf was when Mary conceived Him. God took His own Spirit and created flesh that would showcase the works of Himself on the earth, not only to redeem mankind from death, but to deliver them from every sickness, oppression, and hindrance. In obedience to the Father, Jesus lived on earth as a man anointed by God, but did not do any mighty works until God publicly proclaimed His sonship. After that point, Jesus verbally told the world His purpose.

Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”

Throughout Jesus’ earthly ministry, He did exactly that. He delivered the captive and healed the sick. He restored the broken and implemented the power of God on the earth. That wasn’t the end of His ministry, He then paid the price in full so that His spirit could live in God's children. Jesus went to the cross and made the way for the Spirit of God to live in every one that would receive. By doing this, He made the way for me to do everything that He did.

Acts 1:8a, “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you.”

This is the power that is talked about in Mark 16 when Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe. In my name, they shall cast out devils…they shall lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The miracle working power of God is resident in believers, in me. The Spirit of Christ gives us the ability to perform the miracles that Jesus did. God is not a God of inactivity. It’s His desire for every human to hear the gospel, to know His voice, and to be whole spirit, soul, and body. Jesus ‘went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of devils’. We don’t just read about Jesus doing miracles, we also see the disciples performing miracles in the name of Jesus. Jesus would send them out in groups to heal the multitudes, and when he ascended, He told them to lay hands on the sick and watch them recover. He wasn’t just talking to the 500 that were standing there, He was talking to every person that would obey His commands and share in His life.

Earlier I stated, “Jesus is alive today on a greater scale than he was when his physical body was here on earth.” How is that possible? He Lives IN ME, He Lives IN the Believers- and we are canvassing the globe with the Glory of God, through miracles. The Miracle Working Power Of God Flows Through My Life Because I Am A Disciple Of Christ.

Anointing...Unlocking Its Treasure

It is abnormal for a child of God to live inconstant with the supernatural. The anointing is supernatural, and the anointing is for action. When we take the action of engaging with the Holy Spirit, then we are in agreement with the anointing and what He wants for us. We engage with the Holy Spirit by getting our mind in tune with Him, and keeping our minds in contact with God. Connection with the anointing is evident once you start ministering to someone. You plan on saying only one thing, then the Holy Spirit begins to bring more to your mind. The Word keeps flowing because you’ve engaged your mind with the Word.

That is how we are to live; we are to live in the revelation of the Word of God. And if our minds are ever idle, even for a couple seconds, all it takes to be back in the anointing, and that supernatural realm is to stop and ask God to show us something in His Word. By doing this, we've put God first in our mind at that time.

I heard a preacher say, " Why don’t you stop talking about God all the time, and start manifesting Him?".

Jesus spoke to the disciples telling them how to go about their life staying in the realm of the supernatural.

Luke 10:8-9 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Jesus told them to GO into the city- They had to act, there in manifesting the power of God.

Luke 12:32b For it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
It's His pleasure... Manifesting the power of God is evidence that His kingdom has been given to the children of God, the obedient Disciples.
So, it is God's good pleasure to give you power and the anointing to heal the sick, and raise the dead. Who brought the Kingdom of God, according to Luke 10:8-9? The disciples that Jesus had sent. So, when we go manifesting the power on earth, it is the Kingdom. It is imperative that the believer knows how to live in and flow with the anointing in order for the truth of God’s word to live and have free reign in the earth realm. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” But the Bible says, “ And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14) So, it was not enough for Jesus to be full of truth only, He also needed the grace, or ability, of the Holy Ghost to rightly divide the truth and to cause the truth to manifest.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. The only one that can interpret divine truth in complete and total accuracy is the Holy Ghost. We have been given, by God, the truth of His word on record. But that is not enough, we must depend completely upon the anointing that abides and lives in us to reveal and make known, not only the knowledge of Christ, but the life and power that His Word contains.

Human Nature vs Divine Power in Renewed Man

God’s plan for humanity is very simple; since the beginning of time God has planned for us to live the God kind of life, an abundant life- a life full of victory, joy, peace and power. In Genesis 1, we read about the creation of man.

God says in Genesis 1 verse 26, “Let us make man in our image after out likeness and let them have dominion… over all the earth.”

So, in order for man to completely understand their identity, from a God perspective, we have to find out how God describes Himself: what His nature is like, and the kind of environment He lives in. Although Adam bowed the knee to Satan and forfeited his God given authority, God sent His only son Jesus, to redeem us from this curse.

The Bible says in Hebrews 1 verse 3 of Christ, “ Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person”.

Jesus was manifested in the flesh to declare and make known heaven’s will for our life. Many believe that Jesus is our example, but really, Christ is the literal indwelling of the anointing of God- resident in every believer. Jesus did not come just to be our example, He came so that He might go to the cross at Calvary, pay the price in full, spill his blood to cleanse our sin and rise from the dead; in order that He might justify us in the eyes of His Father. When Jesus died on the cross, we died with Him according to Galatians 2 verse 20,

“ I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me.”

This means that the life I’ve previously lived as a by product of Adam’s spiritual decision to come under the rule of Satan, has been completely destroyed by faith through Christ’s provision.

The Bible says in Ephesians 2 verse 6, “We have been raised together to sit with Christ in Heavenly places,” It also says in Colossians 3 verse 1, “If ye be seated with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

This means my new life is hidden in the brightness of the Father’s glory, and in the image of Christ.

Luke 5 verse 38 Jesus said, “ But new wine must be put into new bottles, and both are preserved.”

The abundant life Jesus came to give is a life in the Spirit. The God kind of life is to be full of the Power of God and to cause the glory of heaven to be radiated and transmitted from our inner man where Christ presides to the natural realm; where God intends to reach everybody that does not know Him. In order to be filled with the spirit and the glory, God had to give us a nature of righteousness that has not been contaminated by sin. We have now been justified by faith, meaning ‘just as if we never sinned’. Our new identity in Christ is an identity that reveals truth to every part of our being and to the world because we have been born by the spirit, Jesus said. The Holy Ghost is the spirit of truth.

In John 14 verse 6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” The bible also says in 1 Corinthians 6 verse 17, “he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.”

As soon as we received Christ, our spirit man united and became one with the Spirit of Truth and the nature of God.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.’

Demons and Demonology

When we were born into this world, we were born into sin. We had never committed an act of sin when we were born, but we were just as guilty as Adam because we came from Adam. In just the same way, when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior by faith and were born of God, we inherited a victory over the forces of darkness that we never earned. Our ability to live as a free child of God that has fellowship with the Father and deliverance from the law of sin and death was given to us as a gift through the offering of the spotless Lamb upon the cross.

Col 2:14-15 - “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

Just as Adam, when he sinned was carrying all of humanity in his loins; Jesus when he went to the cross was carrying all of humanity in his loins. Jesus was the 2nd Adam and he put to death the first Adam. He completely stripped the devil from any power over humanity. The Bible says that the ‘strength of sin’ is the law. Sin is only a stronghold over a person’s life when they don’t have a revelation of the fact that Jesus blotted out and nailed the law to his cross. The strength of sin has been broken. We are free through the atonement of the blood of Christ.

After the crucifixion, burial, resurrection, and ascension, God sent the Holy Ghost to be our guide and comforter to lead us into all truth.

Acts 1:8 - “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

God has endued us with power to enforce the victory of Christ. Jesus called the Holy Ghost the Spirit of Truth. He will impart divine revelation into our heart that will expose the defeat of Satan and the Lordship of Christ. The way to maintain our victory over the devil is simple:

John 8:31-32 - “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

We are called to live by faith. We must continue in His Word. The Word of God is our life source. Christ is the vine, and we are the branches. When we abide in the Word, the Word abides in us.

1 John 1:7 - “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

If we walk in the truth, we have fellowship with the truth. We have had a radical transformation take place in our spirit man through the new birth. Now we must have a radical transformation in our mind in order to experience the benefits of Christ’s victory over the devil. Faith awakens our true identity, or we really are. Faith causes what was dormant with reference to divine endowments and causes them to come to life.

1 John 5:4 - “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
We get faith by hearing the Word of God with our spiritual ear and receiving it. The only way that the devil can be active in our life is if he can get us to yield our thought life to him.

Romans 8:6 - “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

God has given us a choice to choose life and blessing, or death and cursing. The way that we choose is by what we accept, meditate on, and eventually release spirtual power in the form of words. We have been given this victory through the grace of God, but we must continually choose to continue in the Word.
